CONFIRMED: GODOFREDO PEPEY INJURED AND OUT OF SATURDAY’S UFC FIGHT NIGHT 106

Multiple sources have confirmed that Brazilian featherweight Godofredo Pepey (13-4) is out of the Saturday’s UFC Fight Night 106 matchup from Kyle Bochniak (7-1) using a nose injury. It is uncertain whether Boston’s Bochniak will remain on the card at Fortaleza, Brazil. Pepey, a Fortaleza native, has won four of his previous five conflicts, with the only loss during that stretch coming from Darren Elkins via unanimous decision at UFC on FOX 20 past July 23. Three of the last four wins also have earned Performance of the Night bonuses. Bochniak has gone 1-1 in his first two UFC appearances, and he is coming from a split-decision triumph over Enrique Barzola in UFC on FOX 21.
